Virginia's Lewis Acclaimed Best SBL Hitter Monday, May 1st, 2034 At only 21 years of age, Sam Lewis could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Virginia Cavaliers, as April was one to remember for the catcher and he has captured the Skip Bertman League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .364 with 16 home runs, 41 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Lewis is hitting .304 so far this season with 48 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 35 hits including 18 home runs, 24 walks and .418 OBP. |
