Willems and Gordon Suspended 4 Games for Brawl Sunday, April 30th, 2034 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Field of the Shield between the Salukis and Seminoles that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Travis Willems of South Illinois and Isaiah Gordon of Florida State were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. Presently Willems is batting .189 with 21 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 10 runs and scored 12 times. For the year Gordon has 12 relief appearances and a 2-0 record with no saves. He has logged 33.2 innings and allowed 33 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .250 batting average against him. Gordon has rung up 38 strikeouts, surrendered 15 walks and fashioned a 4.28 ERA. |
