Players Suspended in Gamecocks-Gators Donnybrook Saturday, April 29th, 2034 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's South Carolina-Florida contest at Scandals Ballpark. The Gamecocks Jim Grove and the Gators Travis Knauss will have to sit out 5 games for their part in the brawl. This year Grove is hitting .178 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .294 clip and scored 8 runs. For the season Knauss is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 3.09 ERA. He has given up 20 hits in 35 innings with 44 strikeouts. |
