Young Star Helps Propel Skip Bertman League to Win in Midseason Classic Wednesday, April 26th, 2034 Dave Perkins shined brightly tonight against the best talent that the USA College Feeder has to offer. The all-star was named MVP for the annual mid-season showcase held at Bruisers Ballpark, as his Skip Bertman League All-Stars downed the Rod Dedeaux League All-Stars by a count of 14-2. "It's humbling to even play in a game like this with legends of the sport all around you," he said. Perkins went 2 for 3 to capture the honor.
