Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, April 24th, 2034 Tommie Parsons of Alabama and Joe Fresh of Florida State have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Titans Ballpark yesterday. Both players have been given 15-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. This year Parsons is hitting .254, produced 26 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 23 times and gotten on base at a .364 rate. To date, Fresh has collected no saves in 8 relief appearances. He has rung up 26 strikeouts and 11 walks in 13.2 innings while registering a 5.93 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record. |
