Cizek Put in Cooler, Hitless Against UCLA Wednesday, April 19th, 2034 Houston defeated UCLA 7-5 today at Ballpark of Shiprock College, but saw the 26-game hitting streak of Cougars right fielder Jason Cizek snapped -- the Bruins held Cizek hitless in 5 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's all that really counts." This year Cizek is hitting .417 with 12 home runs. |
