Baylor's Wheeler to Miss Season Monday, April 17th, 2034 The season is apparently over for Jim Wheeler. The Baylor Bears medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 13 months with a torn rotator cuff. Wheeler was hurt in the game against Rice while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. For this year Wheeler has chalked up 2 wins and 2 losses in 5 starts with 23 strikeouts in 23.1 innings and a 3.47 ERA. |
