Cizek Hits in 20 Straight Games Sunday, April 9th, 2034 With 1 hit at Red Wings Ballpark today, Jason Cizek added another game to his hitting streak -- the Houston right fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Cougars today, as they fell, 7-4, to the Arizona Wildcats. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Arizona manager Jeffrey Coffman said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Jason Cizek grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Cizek is batting .410 with 12 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
