Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, March 27th, 2034 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Toughkenamon College Fields. Both the Owls and Titans were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Rice's Dan Johnston and Cal State Fullerton's Kyle Douglas were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Johnston and Douglas for 9 games each. Johnston is batting .304 this year with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. He has 7 hits in 23 at-bats. |
