Fletcher Grabs SBL Cy Young Award Tuesday, May 31st, 2033 Erik Fletcher of the Indiana State Sycamores outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2033 Skip Bertman League Cy Young Award. During his remarkable year Fletcher posted a 4-1 record in 10 starts. In 56 innings he yielded 35 hits and 13 walks while striking out 60 and compiling a fine 1.45 ERA. Nick Swanson of the Iowa State Cyclones finished second in voting, while Jake Hickerson of the Indiana State Sycamores finished third. |
