Tigers Dump Jeffrey Coffman as Manager Sunday, May 22nd, 2033 It came as no surprise when Jeffrey Coffman was fired from his post as the manager of the Missouri Tigers, not even for the man himself. Speaking to reporters minutes after being informed of his termination, Coffman said, "It's no big shock I guess, but it still hurts. Nobody ever likes to be told they can't do a job they love anymore." Coffman was a fan favorite and much-heralded for being a player's manager, team general manager Joe Unknown said. "At the end of the day baseball is about what happens between the lines. We'd love to have kept a quality baseball man like Jeffrey in the Missouri organization, but he felt it was better to move on." |
