No Late-Season Magic Coming: South Mississippi Out of Playoffs Tuesday, May 10th, 2033 South Mississippi Golden Eagles manager Jason Metcalf said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Golden Eagles are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 21 seasons in the USA College Feeder. |
