Golden Eagles George Fawns Will Miss Season Monday, May 9th, 2033 George Fawns of the Golden Eagles just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old South Mississippi starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Mississippi State Bulldogs recently at Ballpark of Storm Lake College. Fawns suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Golden Eagles medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. In 9 starts this year Fawns has fashioned a 2-1 record and a 2.66 ERA. |
