Driggs Bags RDL Best Player Award Monday, May 9th, 2033 Arizona State Sun Devils right fielder Brent Driggs walked away with the Rod Dedeaux League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Sun Devils fans are really behind me right now," said the 20-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Driggs batted .538 (14-for-26) with 6 home runs and 13 RBIs this week on his way to the award. So far this season Driggs is hitting .370 with 16 home runs. |
