Tulane-USC Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, May 1st, 2033 Yesterday at Berthoud College Grounds Tim Radziewicz and Dave Tressler got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Tulane Green Wave and USC Trojans. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified both ballclubs that Radziewicz and Tressler would be given 6-game suspensions for fighting. Currently Radziewicz is hitting .266 and has collected 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 times, while playing in 23 games. This year his season stats show Tressler has no saves in 11 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 5.18 ERA. |
