RDL's Top Hitter Named Sunday, May 1st, 2033 Washington State Cougars fans believe they've got a talented young star in Barry Wirfel. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in April, as he hit .419 with 16 home runs, 41 RBIs and 31 runs scored. The end result was the center fielder being named the Rod Dedeaux League Batter of the Month. In 36 games this year Wirfel has posted a .400 average and put up these numbers: 19 home runs, 49 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
