Injury Sidelines Jordan Gilbert for Season
Saturday, April 30th, 2033
The news is bad in Oregon. The Ducks have lost the services of reliever Jordan Gilbert for the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Gilbert was injured in a recent game with the Rice Owls while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 9 months.
This year Gilbert has made 7 relief appearances with no saves. In 13.2 innings, he has permitted 12 hits, fanned 13 hitters and recorded 2 wins and no losses with a 1.32 ERA.
