Season Over for Neil Vandermark in Florida State Sunday, April 24th, 2033 A blow for Neil Vandermark today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8-9 months with a torn labrum. Vandermark suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Florida State Seminoles are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Vandermark's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this season Vandermark sports a 4-0 mark with a 1.84 ERA in 6 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .134 batting average and has 50 strikeouts in 29.1 innings. |
