Rusty Tine Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, April 23rd, 2033 The season is ending on a bad note for Rusty Tine, closer for the Florida Gators. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Tine was hurt against the Oklahoma State Cowboys while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 13-14 months. This season Tine has worked 6.1 innings in 6 relief appearances and picked up 1 save. He has dished out 8 strikeouts and walked 1 with a 1-0 mark and a 1.42 ERA. |
