Lopez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, April 21st, 2033 The Missouri Tigers stopped the Oklahoma Sooners today 5-4 and Ivan Lopez collected a base hit yet again. The Missouri third baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Lopez told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Ivan Lopez walked in the 1st, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.
