3-Game Suspensions for Davis-Olson Fight Monday, April 18th, 2033 Today the league office handed out 3-game suspensions to Ryan Davis of the Bears and Don Olson of the Aggies for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Wolverines Stadium yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." This year Davis has socked 20 hits in 75 at-bats for a .267 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .461 pace and his totals also include 6 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Olson has made no relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 18.2 innings he has a 2-1 record, 9.16 ERA with 23 strikeouts and 9 walks. |
