Landry Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, March 31st, 2033 The Oregon State Beavers might think twice next time about pitching to Jimmy Landry. At Palisades Ballpark today, the Fresno State Bulldogs right fielder burned Oregon State pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 21-14 Fresno State triumph. "When he's on his game," Fresno State skipper Xavier Chávez told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Jimmy Landry hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dustin Gibbs in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
