Stone's Strong Week Earns RDL Trophy Monday, March 28th, 2033 20-year-old Danny Stone made a few Fresno State headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Rod Dedeaux League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 30 at-bats to put up a .367 average. Stone collected 8 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 10 runs. |
