3-HR Game for Seeger Sunday, March 27th, 2033 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Volunteers-Buckeyes game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Tennessee right fielder Ian Seeger thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Tennessee to a 11-5 win over Ohio State. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Seeger said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Seeger was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 RBI. Ian Seeger flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Chad McClure in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Nick Howard in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jeremy Hebert in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th. So far in 2033 Seeger is batting .300 with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 9 hits in 30 at-bats and a .400 OBP. |
