On a Roll: Montague Hits for Cycle Sunday, March 27th, 2033 Oregon State's Rich Montague accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Montague finished 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored and helped the Beavers knock off the Tulane Green Wave 10-3 at Palisades Ballpark. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Montague told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Rich Montague tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jason Geiger in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
