Veliz's Season Could be Over Wednesday, March 23rd, 2033 The season is finished for Omar Veliz of the North Carolina Tar Heels. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Tar Heels right fielder suffered a fractured ankle while running the bases in a recent game against the Florida State Seminoles. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. |
