20 Games in a Row for Sorrells Wednesday, March 23rd, 2033 Tim Sorrells ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Palisades Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Arizona State Sun Devils dropped the game, 15-8, to the Oregon State Beavers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Sorrells said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Tim Sorrells struck out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. |
