John Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, March 22nd, 2033 Steve John, third baseman for the USC Trojans, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 4-3 victory today over the South Mississippi Golden Eagles at Ballpark of Storm Lake College today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Steve John struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
