Virginia Won't Make Playoffs Monday, May 17th, 2032 When a team loses its shot at a NCAA College World Series championship, it's "the worst day of the year," said Virginia Cavaliers manager Larry Vaughn. That day has now come for Virginia, as they were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Cavaliers have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 20 years as a USA NCAA DIVISION I franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 20th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2012. |
