UCLA's Poorman Sidelined for Season Saturday, May 15th, 2032 The Bruins received bad news this morning. Paul Poorman will miss 5-6 months due to an arthritic elbow. He sustained the injury in the UCLA-Arizona State game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Poorman sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This season Poorman has compiled a 1-4 record with a 6.03 ERA. |
