Cougars Chill Mann's Hot Streak Saturday, May 15th, 2032 Joe Mann of the USC Trojans came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the second baseman, USC dropped the game to the Houston Cougars 9-7. "It was not a good day today," Mann told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season Mann has hit at a .408 clip and produced 64 runs batted in, 21 home runs and 53 runs. |
