Gray Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, May 15th, 2032 Tyler Gray told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Gray of the Stanford Cardinals did against the Fresno State Bulldogs. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a 15-10 defeat. "Not much I can say," offered Gray in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
