Bears Adams Lost for Year Thursday, May 13th, 2032 The Baylor Bears learned that Dexter Adams is likely to be out for 5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Rice Owls. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn rotator cuff. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Baylor manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Dexter is back in action." This year Adams has no saves in 12 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 8.34 ERA. |
