Mann Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, May 10th, 2032 USC second baseman Joe Mann keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Brooks College Grounds today. The Trojans took the 10-6 victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Mann said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Joe Mann grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Matt Loomis in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Cullen Wetmore in the 9th. So far this year Mann is batting .412 with 18 home runs, 57 RBIs and 46 runs scored. |
