Yellow Jackets Out of Playoff Race Monday, May 10th, 2032 Even the most die-hard fans of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Yellow Jackets right fielder Tommy Buford. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." Georgia Tech last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Yellow Jackets have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
