Fest Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, May 9th, 2032 Vince Fest ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Dingoes Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Cal State Fullerton Titans dropped the game, 5-3, to the TCU Horned Frogs. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Fest said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Vince Fest hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd and struck out in the 5th. Fest currently has a .342 batting average with 50 hits, 8 homers, 38 RBIs, 28 runs scored and a .432 OBP. |
