Brooks and Fawns Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, May 8th, 2032 Matt Brooks of the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns and George Fawns of the South Mississippi Golden Eagles received official notice today from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended 10 games for their roles in the on-field disturbance in a recent game at Field of the Dukes. For the season Brooks is hitting .326, batted in 26 runs with 5 home runs and 24 runs scored. In 8 starts this season, Fawns has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 2 losses. He has pitched 37 innings, allowed 45 hits, struck out 42 and has a 5.35 ERA. |
