Ballentine Sizzles -- Smokes Cavaliers for 5 Hits Saturday, April 17th, 2032 The Virginia Cavaliers might think twice next time about pitching to Jamie Ballentine. At Ballpark of Redwood College today, the Iowa State Cyclones first baseman burned Virginia pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 16-5 Iowa State triumph. "When he's on his game," Iowa State skipper Theodore Foster told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Jamie Ballentine singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Xavier Keller in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
