3 Boomers for Driggs
Monday, April 5th, 2032
Brent Driggs was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 13-3 Arizona State Sun Devils triumph at Toughkenamon College Fields today.
The 19-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Sun Devils past the Rice Owls.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Driggs told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The right fielder went 4-for-4, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
Brent Driggs hit a two-run home run off Paul Lucas in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Paul Lucas in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Adam Brenner in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th.
To date this year Driggs is batting .432 with 6 home runs.
