The California Golden Bears reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the LSU Tigers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Griffis was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 17-18 months. |
