Gresham Selected LBL's Best Pitcher Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Tim Gresham, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Charleston Panthers reliever, 24, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .227 average and walked away with the Lyman Bostock League Pitcher of the Month award for September. Gresham posted a 6-0 mark and a 3.78 ERA in 16 relief appearances. In 16.2 innings, he had no saves, 20 strikeouts, and 6 walks. Gresham has taken the mound for 95 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 24-3 record with a 3.88 ERA. The Charleston reliever has limited opposing batters to a .236 batting average. |
