Victoria's Maynard Chosen LBL Batter of the Month Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Chris Maynard may be much younger than other hitters in the Lyman Bostock League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Victoria first baseman hit .348 with 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored. For the season Maynard has hit .243 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 78 games and scored 32 times. |
