Macias Selected Top Player Monday, September 11th, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Donnie Moore League, but last week Jose Macias of the Eugene Emeralds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Macias rocked opposing pitching for a .647 average (11-for-17), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Macias has hit .230 with 16 home runs, 62 RBIs and scored 75 times. |
