Year Over for Hornets Rodríguez Wednesday, September 6th, 2034 The season is apparently over for Javier Rodríguez. The Bethesda Hornets medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 15-16 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Rodríguez was hurt in the game against Charleston while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Thus far this season, Rodríguez has tossed 90.2 innings in 14 starts, fanned 81 batters, walked 72 and put up a 3.28 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses. |
