Year Over for River Chiefs Cantú Wednesday, September 6th, 2034 The season is apparently over for Cisco Cantú. The Chippewa River Chiefs medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6-7 months with shoulder inflammation. Cantú was hurt in the game against Houston while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Thus far this season, Cantú has tossed 60.1 innings in 11 starts, fanned 56 batters, walked 30 and put up a 4.92 ERA with 2 wins and 4 losses. |
