Evans Selected LBL Player of the Week Monday, September 4th, 2034 Phil Evans must have thought he died and went to heaven this week. First he went on a remarkable batting rampage, hammering the ball at a .500 clip, then the St. Paul third baseman finds out he has been voted the league's top performer and gets the LBL Player of the Week Award. For the week Evans batted .500 (10-for-20) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. Thus far this year Evans is hitting .256 with 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 63 runs scored. |
