LBL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 31st, 2034 So far in his young career, Jake Bell has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Lyman Bostock League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old St. Paul Saints third baseman hit at a torrid .615 clip as he collected 8 hits in 13 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Bell has compiled a .360 batting average and a .429 on-base percentage, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 7 runs. |
