League Suspends Arce and Frazier for Fisticuffs Tuesday, July 25th, 2034 Benito Arce of Coney Island and J.P. Frazier of Charleston have been sanctioned by the league office for causing the ruckus at Coney Island Coliseum yesterday. Both players have been given 5-game suspensions for instigating the fight and subsequent free-for-all. So far this year Arce has 6 home runs and a .223 batting average. To date in the season, Frazier is 3-0 with 12 relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .267 average, pitched 39.2 innings, struck out 33 and walked 12 while recording a 2.72 ERA. |
