George and Winkowski Fight, Suspended 7 Games Sunday, July 16th, 2034 The league commissioner's office announced today that Earl George of the Knights and Dennis Winkowski of the Panthers have both been suspended for 7 games for fighting in the recent game between Charleston and Kingwood at Stable Park. Currently George is hitting .366 and has collected 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 13 times, while playing in 25 games. Winkowski has taken the mound for 28 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 4.01 ERA. The Charleston reliever has limited opposing batters to a .274 batting average. |
