Fujita Fires Shutout in River Chiefs Victory

In an impressive mound performance, Kazue Fujita of the Chippewa River Chiefs checked the Bel Air Princes on a 1-hitter and held them scoreless.
"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said Bel Air manager Leland Austin. "Fujita kept us confused the whole game."
The Chippewa hurler rang up 12 strikeouts and issued no walks in his 1-0 shutout victory.
This season Fujita has been credited with no saves in no relief appearances. In 109.2 innings he has a 8-4 won-lost mark, 4.27 ERA and 127 strikeouts
